Jen Sermoneta, PsyD

Licensed Psychologist

Patients describe feeling able to grow and become happier and stronger through our work. Other therapists describe me as authentic, responsive, empathic, a joy to work with, warm, open, and smart. Supervisees and students say I'm supportive and inspiring.

I will relate to you authentically, as a real person. I’ll try to help you gain clarity and find both what is working and what's not.

My orientation is primarily psychodynamic, and also incorporates tools and concepts from other approaches including CBT, MI, humor, ACT, mindfulness, and experiential. Specialties include personal empowerment; pregnancy/parenting; physical issues/illness; creativity; culture; and identity.

Values are important to me. I strive to be as ethical, emotionally available, open-minded, non-judgmental, and caring as possible.
